Drogheda & District Chamber yesterday announced the shortlist for the Drogheda Business Excellence Awards 2019. These awards celebrate the “best in class” businesses across the Northeast region and First Citizen Finance is delighted to support by sponsoring the fiercely competitive SME category, 1-10 employees.
First held in 2005, the longevity of the awards is a testament to the success of the Chamber organisation and the recipient’s delight, each and every year since. The Awards ceremony itself will take place on Saturday 23rd of November in the CityNorth Hotel Gormanston. This glittering black-tie social event of the business calendar promises to be a wonderful night, celebrating excellence in business across the region. A group of independent judges co-ordinated by Geraldine King, CEO of the National Recruitment Federation will interview category finalists on Tuesday 22nd October. The judging panel will assess each entry under 6 key criteria areas: Leadership, Employees, Customer Service, Impact on Region, Business Plans and ‘why you’ - the ultimate question.
